Project Description

The freelance project entails responsibilities such as developing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions using MariaDB and Galera Cluster, managing and optimizing Microsoft SQL Servers, and optionally Postgres, conducting performance analyses and optimizations, ensuring database security and integrity, supporting database migration projects, collaborating with the development team to integrate databases into software applications, and creating and maintaining technical documentation. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge and practical experience with MariaDB and Galera Cluster, experience in managing and optimizing Microsoft SQL Servers with knowledge of Postgres being advantageous, proficiency in SQL and database design, experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting in databases, familiarity with common operating systems (Linux/Windows), strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, team collaboration abilities, and good communication skills.
