We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team for a long-term collaboration. The ideal candidate will have expertise in transitioning data from Firestore to BigQuery, developing ETL processes, and optimizing BigQuery for reporting and analytics purposes. Responsibilities include designing and finalizing the BigQuery schema, collaborating with the team to understand data requirements, troubleshooting data-related issues, and participating in discussions during EST hours. The successful candidate must have proven experience with Google Cloud platforms, strong SQL skills, familiarity with Cloud Functions and serverless architectures, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Preferred qualifications include previous experience in the food or restaurant industry and familiarity with data visualization tools.
