Project Description
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure data pipelines on AWS. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift, Glue, and EMR, as well as strong knowledge in ETL processes. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, SQL, and possibly Java or Scala, along with experience in SQL and NoSQL databases is required. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous, as well as familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch and ELK Stack. The candidate should also possess excellent German language skills, and holding certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Data Analytics would be a plus. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with Data Scientists, Analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring data quality and integrity across systems, implementing security protocols, and optimizing system performance to enhance efficiency. Maintaining technical documentation and operational manuals, identifying and resolving data processing issues, and bottlenecks are also key responsibilities for this position.
