Project Description
A successful candidate is sought to join a dedicated team responsible for delivering field network services in the Rockies Business Unit. The primary focus will be on maintaining environmental protection, prioritizing health and safety, and providing secure, performant, reliable, and efficient network services for critical business units. Responsibilities include collaborating with field and enterprise network teams, ensuring deadlines are met, managing project lifecycles, coordinating asset and inventory management, setting and achieving optimization goals, utilizing IT Service Management tools, and being available 24/7 for on-call support. The ideal candidate must possess academic technical knowledge, an understanding of emerging technology and strategy, good decision-making skills, proficiency in communication, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders. Desirable qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering, experience in network design and deployment, familiarity with telecommunications facilities, structured cabling, fiber optic infrastructure, internet networking technologies, and process improvement. A proven track record of problem-solving, strategic planning, tactical execution, and managing construction teams and vendor relationships is preferred.
