Project Description

Our client is currently seeking an IT Administrator (m/f/d) with expertise in database servers for a project based in Braunschweig. The position will primarily be on-site, with potential for some remote work upon agreement. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Media Informatics, or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of Internet technologies, central databases, Linux, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, GitLab, OpenProjekt instances, Nginx, PostgreSQL, and SharePoint. Experience with virtualization platforms, server operating systems (particularly Linux and Windows Server), and a keen awareness of IT security and data protection are also essential. The role will involve providing operational support for Internet, database, and intranet systems, as well as performance monitoring. The project is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2024, after completing security clearance requirements, and has an initial end date of June 30, 2027, with the possibility of extension. The hourly rate for this role is €52.
