Project Description
Starting in mid-August for a duration of 4 1/2 months, this full-time remote project based in Frankfurt requires expertise in updating master data for the stock process, implementing waterfall logic in the new infrastructure, establishing a daily update and verification process, reconciling and testing against the old process, and analyzing discrepancies. Additional tasks involve building a Factor Suite for the stock process, which includes analyzing and visualizing factor strategies, decile portfolios, metrics like return and risk measures, correlations, scenario analyses, and providing a basis for research and ad-hoc requests. Technical requirements include a strong proficiency in Python software development, knowledge of column-based storage solutions such as Apache Parquet, SQL Server, ODBC data connections, implementing factor construction procedures, developing data integrations using REST APIs, and experience with CI/CD pipelines. Candidates are expected to have specific expertise in the Quant-IT data model and knowledge of asset management and finance.
