Project Description
Our client in Frankfurt am Main is seeking a Data Science Specialist (m/f/d) for a project in the Transport - Travel - Logistics industry. The specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing data analysis and prediction models, conducting exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends, creating data visualizations and reports, applying machine learning and statistical techniques, identifying business opportunities through data analysis, collaborating with IT experts to optimize data processing processes, and prototyping and validating models to verify data analysis. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in data science and data analysis, including working with tools like Scikit-learn and Pandas, as well as at least 3 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models with tools like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and MLFlow. Additionally, experience in workflow orchestration and monitoring with tools like Airflow and Docker, data modeling and relational databases, knowledge of GIT and PostgreSQL/SQL, and familiarity with information systems for travelers are required. Desired qualifications include experience in communicating with interface partners, moderation, agile methods like SCRUM and Kanban, working organization and project tracking with tools like Jira Software and Confluence, and proficiency in German language at B2 level or higher. The project will require 15PT of on-site work (3 days in 2024 and 12 days in 2025) in Frankfurt am Main.
