Project Description
The Federal Ministry of Finance is seeking an Application Security Analyst to support the modernization and development of IT systems for the federal budget. The role involves collaborating with development teams to communicate security requirements, propose and implement security measures at the code level, monitor quality gates, conduct CVE analysis, OWASP ZAP tests, and threat modeling. The ideal candidate must have a strong focus on IT security with relevant education or equivalent experience, proficiency in BSI IT basic protection and data protection regulations, expertise in assessing the feasibility of security measures, programming skills in Java, Golang, or Python, and a hands-on mentality with a passion for software development. Additional desirable skills include experience with DAST and SAST tools, OWASP Dependency Track, GitOps practices, and Red Hat OpenShift Advanced Cluster Security. The position is remote-friendly, with a starting date of September 16, 2024, until December 31, 2024, based in Nuremberg or remote.
