Senior Supply Chain Data Analyst (RetailFMCG)

Project Description

Our client based in North Rhine-Westphalia is in need of a Senior Supply Chain Data Analyst (m/f/d) starting on July 1, 2024 (latest August 1). The hired individual will be responsible for ensuring efficient and reliable supply of goods to hubs and central warehouses through a data-driven approach. Consulting various stakeholders, including C-level executives, based on in-depth data analysis in the field of Supply Chain Management will be a key part of the role to advise on strategic decision-making processes. Creating and evaluating quantitative models to strategically optimize the supply chain, conducting data analysis to identify bottlenecks and optimization potentials, integrating, preparing, and analyzing internal and external data sources using modern IT tools will all be part of the responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have project experience in Data Analytics within Supply Chain Management, extensive experience with SQL, knowledge of database structures, data preparation, and ideally experience with Databricks, strong proficiency in PowerBI, and a background in Retail and/or FMCG environments is essential. The project is set to start on July 1, 2024, with a workload of 2.5 - 5 days per week depending on the consultant's availability, with hourly billing and a fully remote project location.
