We are in need of a skilled Freelance SOC Analyst to join our cybersecurity team within the Semiconductor and Renewable Energy industries. The ideal candidate will be tasked with monitoring and responding to security incidents, analyzing threats, and ensuring the safeguarding of critical infrastructure and intellectual property. Utilizing advanced security tools and methodologies, you will be responsible for detecting, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Key responsibilities include monitoring security alerts, analyzing security data, engaging in incident response, conducting threat hunting and vulnerability assessments, collaborating with IT and security teams, and documenting security incidents. The desired qualifications include proven experience in SOC operations, preferably within industrial sectors such as semiconductor or renewable energy, proficiency in SIEM tools like Splunk or Sentinel, knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and relevant certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP would be advantageous.
