Project Description

Our client is seeking an expert in data modeling (m/f/d) specifically Data Vault 2.0 for a remote project. The main tasks include building and evolving the Data Warehouse as a central component of the Data Domain Architecture, analyzing, implementing, and documenting business requirements in the DWH environment, designing and implementing efficient data models and structures, leading the development of Data Domain Architecture and implementation standards, overseeing project implementation in interdisciplinary teams, conducting code reviews, providing guidance and training to colleagues, implementing measures to improve data quality, and ensuring 3rd-level support during production operations. The ideal candidate must have expert knowledge in data modeling (preferably Data Vault 2.0) and related tools, proficiency in database query languages (e.g. SQL) and database management systems (preferably Oracle), and expertise in BI/DWH architectures and relevant tools (e.g. Wherescape). Nice additions would include experience in analytical banking issues and their technical implementation, experience in the banking sector, and knowledge of Requirements Engineering and Software Engineering. The project is set to run from October 15, 2024, to October 15, 2025, with a daily rate of 670€ (primarily remote with occasional on-site work in Duisburg - 5% expected). The project language is German, and the expected workload is 100%. Interested candidates are invited to submit their profiles, including availability and daily rate.
