Project Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Python developer to work on developing plugins for QGIS, specifically for PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases, with the possibility of occasional on-site meetings in Frankfurt. The project, lasting approximately 60 months with potential for extension, requires part-time availability of around 650 PT. The developer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing software applications as per client requirements, advising on technical implementations, participating in project meetings, collaborating with project managers and other team members, and producing clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Key requirements include 5 years of experience in QGIS plugin development with Python, 3 years in railway software projects, 3 years in property management solutions with QGIS, 3 years working with PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases, and extensive knowledge of QGIS.
