Project Description
We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master or Agile Coach with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, for a 4-month full-time freelance opportunity starting in September 2024. The role involves moderating agile ceremonies, supporting Product Owners in backlog management, coordinating timely task deliveries, guiding data project segmentation, removing team impediments, fostering a collaborative environment, ensuring timely and budget-compliant data solutions, promoting continuous improvement, empowering team self-organization, measuring and reporting team progress, and enhancing performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in data-related projects, a solid grasp of data management concepts and technologies, familiarity with hybrid cloud environments, excellent communication skills, advanced knowledge of agile methodologies like Scrum, proficiency in agile project management tools (e.g., Jira), understanding of DevOps practices and release management, ability to implement agile metrics, strong problem-solving skills, adaptability to changing priorities, exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities, and relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Additional desirable skills include knowledge of SQL, data modeling, ETL processes, cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, Google Cloud), and continuous integration and deployment tools. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management proficiency, and interpersonal skills to drive successful outcomes in a dynamic environment split between remote work and one week per month based in Berlin.
