Datacenter Network Engineer

We are a leading international recruitment company specializing in the placement of highly qualified technical experts in areas such as IT Life Cycle, SAP, Engineering, Commercial, and Technical Consulting. Currently, we are seeking a Datacenter Network Engineer for our client based in Remote, Berlin. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with data center networks, VLAN, MPLS, VPN, and remote access, as well as proficiency in Cisco ACI and/or Juniper Apstra. Knowledge of protocols such as BGP, ISIS, OSPF, IPSec, DNS, IPAM, automation of network deployment with Ansible, collaboration with the software development team using Python, and familiarity with DevOps and systems management tools are required. Proficiency in English is mandatory, and nice-to-have skills include basic knowledge of Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls, Linux, VMware, LDAP, OIDC, OAUTH, PKI certificates, and CIS-Hardening. The Datacenter Network Engineer will be responsible for planning and implementing infrastructure in accordance with architectural and operational requirements within the program. They will work in collaboration with the Network Delivery Leader to ensure efficient and standardized deployment, documentation, and handover processes aimed at facilitating structured and standardized maintenance. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be flexible in taking on tasks beyond their core competencies and establishing effective communication channels across various program organizations as the project enters its initial phase.
