Project Description

Our client is currently seeking an IT Administrator (m/f/d) for Database Servers for their location in Braunschweig. The role will mainly be on-site with some remote work possible upon agreement. The start date is flexible, ideally from July 1, 2024, after completing the required security clearance. The project is expected to run until June 30, 2027, with the possibility of extension. The budget for this role is 52€/hour. The responsibilities include providing operational support for internet, databases, and intranet areas, managing various servers under Linux, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, GitLab, OpenProjekt, Nginx, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and SharePoint, as well as conducting performance monitoring. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Media Informatics, or equivalent experience, with a strong background in internet technologies, MS SQL databases, Linux, Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, GitLab, OpenProjekt, Nginx, PostgreSQL, SharePoint, virtualization platforms, and server operating systems including Linux and Windows Server, coupled with a keen eye for IT security and data protection. Key skills required are willingness to undergo security clearance, proficiency in internet technologies, and web services.
