Project Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist for a project focused on analyzing and optimizing promotional codes. The main goal is to analyze historical data related to promotional codes and develop an algorithm that can define the best threshold and duration to maximize net margin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, programming, and managing complex projects. Responsibilities include analyzing historical data to identify patterns, developing and implementing an algorithm to optimize the use of promotional codes, releasing and scheduling the developed code for industrialization, documenting the project thoroughly with clear reports, creating a tool for periodic performance measurement, attending weekly meetings with stakeholders, and completing timesheets on Jira. Requirements include a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, proven experience in data science and data analysis, proficiency in programming languages like Python or R, experience in implementing machine learning algorithms and models, clear documentation skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities for effective stakeholder interaction, and familiarity with time and project management tools like Jira.
