Data Developer

Project Description

Our client is seeking a Data Developer to work on-site for 16 hours and off-site for 800 hours. The project involves working with a variety of databases and data sources at E.ON Energie Deutschland GmbH, transforming them into data products for different departments using a modern architecture and Data Vault 2.0 modeling. The current project involves Snowflake Data Warehouse developments from the GSTP Demand Journey & Data Funnel. The main tasks include conceptualizing, adapting, and implementing requirements from the business department, independently building and restructuring data and structures in the Data Warehouse, advising on development standards and guidelines in the Data Vault context, and creating complex business transformations using dbt and Snowflake SQL. The Data Developer will also participate in project meetings as part of the Scrum process, coordinating with internal and external colleagues on assigned tasks. The ideal candidate should have expertise in SQL, Snowflake SQL, DBeaver, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, as well as strong communication skills, experience with agile frameworks, and proficiency in English (B2) and German (C1).
