Project Description

We are looking for an external Snowflake Data Warehouse Developer with the following qualifications for a project starting on August 1st, 2024, until December 31st, 2024. The position can be remote or in Essen, with a workload of 4-5 PT/week. The project involves working with a variety of databases and data sources at the client's site to create data products for different departments using modern architecture and Data Vault 2.0 modeling. The current project is dynamic within the Scrum framework, and the goal is to implement requirements from EPICs and User Stories. The role includes tasks such as designing, adapting, and implementing departmental requirements, building data structures in the Data Warehouse, advising on development standards in the Data Vault context, modeling Raw and Business Vault, creating complex business transformations using dbt and Snowflake-SQL, and participating in project meetings under the Scrum process. The ideal candidate should have expertise in SQL, Snowflake SQL, DBeaver, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, as well as strong communication skills, experience with agile frameworks, and proficiency in English (B2) and German (C1).
