Visualizing and Analyzing Sales Data

Project Description

A consumer products brand is in need of an experienced data analyst/visualizer to help analyze and derive insights from their sales data. The project involves conducting a store-by-store, sku-by-sku analysis of sales data from their largest retailer to identify trends and regional differences. The ideal candidate will not only possess technical expertise but also have the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical team members. The client prefers working with native English speakers within 2 hours of the Pacific time zone, and communication will primarily be done through Zoom and screenshares. This position has the potential for long-term engagement, requiring 5-10 hours per week. With 4 main sales channels, 30 SKUs, and an outside sales team of about 20, there is ample data available from Shopify, Amazon, Excel, and Google Sheets of good to very good quality, requiring minimal cleaning. The hourly rate for this role ranges from $17.00-$25.00.
